500,000 jobs per month. instead, we've lost 400,000 jobs. over the summer, in the spring, the president said we'll come to love, by the fall, health care. none of that has played out. this is -- you mentioned it. it is like '92. another dynamic happening in '92, wasn't just dissatisfaction with the economy. you remember that ross perot was in presence in that race, a big one. an unprecedented one. it was about the deficit, which is a framework for the size and the scope and the reach and the intrusion and the efficacy of government. that's replaying itself out right here. this is not a petulant, angry, anti-obama thing. this is anti-the reach, the overreach of government, on his watch. and the one party control of overreaching government. >> donna, mary says this is not about obama. but something else we've seen in the polls is his personal standing is starting to decline over the last several months.
